Michelle Stafford, actress from The Young and the Restless, won the Outstanding Supporting Actress award at the 51st Annual Daytime Emmys Awards in 2024.
The greatest television event of the year drew soap opera and talk show stars, and Stafford left the celebration on June 7 with one of the prized trophies.
Candidates for Outstanding Supporting Actress included Katherine Kelly Lang and Annika Noelle from The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as Finola Hughes and Cynthia Watros from General Hospital. Also, Tamara Braun from Days of Our Lives was among the nominees.

Michelle Stafford has already won twice in this category at the Daytime Emmys Awards 2024, and this is her 13th Emmy nomination for her role on The Young and the Restless. In 2003, she won her first award for Best Lead Actress in a Dramatic Series.
Stafford’s most notable role was in the lively CBS daytime serial series Phyllis Summers. Although the series only intended Stafford’s portrayal of Phyllis to be temporary, audiences received it favorably.
Michelle Stafford joined The Young and the Restless in 1994, and she appeared in 2,317 soap opera episodes before it debuted in 1973.

Michelle Stafford’s co-star Courtney Hope, who took home the Supporting Actress trophy, joined her on her great night at the 51st Daytime Emmy Awards in 2024.
The Daytime Emmys nominated Hope for her role as Sally Spectra in the series in 2021 and 2024.

Allison Lanier, who plays Summer Newman on the CBS series, is another Y&R star who received a nomination for supporting actress.
Other nominations from The Young and the Restless cast for the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards include Eric Braeden for Male Lead Performance as Victor Newman and Bryton James for Best Supporting Actor as Devon Winters.
Linden Ashby is also nominated for Guest Performance as Cameron Kirsten.
The show’s crew and production members nominated several categories, including Writing Team for a Daytime Drama Series, Directing Team, Casting, Art Direction/Set Direction/Scenic Design, and Hairstyling and Makeup.
In the meantime, General Hospital on ABC won the coveted Best Daytime Drama Series prize for a record-breaking four times.
Melody Thomas Scott, producer Edward J. Scott, and public food TV show host Lidia Bastianich will receive a Lifetime Achievement award today. Melody Thomas Scott is not among the other Y&R cast members.
