The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has scheduled seven red ball games for Bangladesh as the focus changes from T20Is to the World Test Championship for the remainder of the year.
Bangladesh still has Test series versus Pakistan, India, South Africa, and the West Indies scheduled for the 2023-25 World Cup cycle.
The Test cricketers will play three four-day games in Chattogram next month. Following the domestic matches, Bangladesh will play two four-day games against Pakistan A in Darwin from July 19-29.

The Bangladesh A squad will then go to Pakistan in August to compete in two four-day matches against the same teams. In addition, New Zealand A is slated to travel to Bangladesh in August or September.
Since May, Bangladesh players have trained in camps in Chattogram and Sylhet.
BCB cricket operations chairman Jalal Yunus noted that the Test players are “progressing well” at these camps.
The four-day games against tough opponents will benefit them in the ICC World Test Championship – WTC matches.
“We may provide them the best preparation for the grueling Test schedule in months to come,” Yunus informed the audience. That leaves the rest in the hands of the players. It’s been encouraging to see the Bangladesh Tigers camp going so well.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board expects the senior men’s squad to travel to Pakistan on August 17 for two Tests, but they have not yet announced the locations and dates.
Following their series in Pakistan, Bangladesh will head to India for a two-match Test series. The Tests will be played in Chennai and Kanpur. After the Tests, Bangladesh will play three Twenty20 Internationals against India.
Bangladesh might travel to India twice in three months if the BCB agrees to the Afghanistan Cricket Board’s modified schedule of two white-ball matches in late July.
The ACB has suggested playing three ODIs and three T20Is at Greater Noida as part of their revised schedule.
Bangladesh originally postponed the visit in March due to their schedule in 2024, but now that the Champions Trophy is on the cards, the BCB might reconsider this tour because they have only scheduled three ODIs between this month and next February.
Following a bilateral series in India in September, Bangladesh will welcome South Africa for two home Tests in October before traveling to the West Indies for a full series between November and December.
