DeVonta Smith on What He Likes About Kellen Moore Offense

During the few sessions held this spring, it has been evident that the offense of the Eagles will be altered in 2024.

During Tuesday’s required minicamp, Smith declared, “I think it’s going to be great.” Introduce a fresh offensive approach.
Allowing men to do things like moving men about and other things that we weren’t permitted to do would be preferable to giving them more freedom. Generally, starting over is always beneficial.

As a first-round selection, Smith, 25, has played well in the NFL for three seasons and this offseason got a lucrative contract deal.
However, it appears plausible that the Eagles haven’t fully utilized Smith’s ability even after back-to-back seasons with 1,000 yards. It all boils down to usage in the end.
Smith was one of the players that many believed would gain the most from the shift when the Eagles brought in Kellen Moore. For example, Smith has only played 36 snaps in the backfield overall and 19.2% of his NFL snaps in the slot.
Kellen Moore has had some success getting the position to produce. So maybe this year, we’ll see Smith and possibly A.J. Brown in new places more frequently.
Smith mentioned, “Everyone has consistently played various positions and such.” He continued, “Yet, rearranging players enables them to engage in one-on-one encounters and win in their preferred manner.”

In recent years, the Eagles have employed several different play-callers to direct Sirianni’s offense. However, this offseason, a plan change is taking place in South Philadelphia. The Eagles have discussed integrating different languages and methods to develop a fresh offensive style.
Sirianni is also reluctant to provide too many specifics, as one might anticipate.
As he stated on Tuesday, “Yeah, again, you’ll see some of those things out there.” “You folks have seen a few things without delving too far into the specifics.
